Residential Care

St. Paul’s seeks to maintain the dignity and independence for all of our residents in a caring environment. Our highly trained and qualified staff are dedicated to caring for the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and individual needs of each resident.

Residents are assisted to maintain their interests and are encouraged to participate in daily activities coordinated as part of our lifestyle program. Our secure dementia facilities ensure residents requiring additional memory support benefit from 24 hour-a-day professional healthcare. All nursing and personal care staff are trained in dementia specific care, equipping them with strategies to enhance quality of life.  Secure indoor and outdoor areas provide residents and their families’ peace of mind.

All residents entering residential care will need to obtain an assets assessment.  This assessment ensures the correct fees are charged to each resident.  Information on this assessment can be sourced from the My Aged Care Website.

Eligibility for Aged Care

Once an individual has had an assessment by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), they are entitled to access residential aged care whether permanent or respite care is sought.

To obtain an ACAT assessment you can contact your family doctor or call Access 2 Home Care on 1300130551.

St. Paul’s is a fully accredited facility by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency.
